Beaucoup [Metametasøk] This question is somewhat difficult to explain and have understood unless you know the nature of the WWW well. But, in a nutshell, Beaucoup is different because the engines listed on the main site (all but the category "Shopping", are what I call "free information" sites -- that is, they offer up a *lot* of information, not simply lists of commercial products or services. They must also be searchable in that they have either an input engine or an alpha-numeric listing -- anything which allows the user to zero in on pages pertaining to the topic they're researching. Any site which exists out of these parameters is either a mistake (please inform me if you find such a site) or extremely exceptional.

Kartoo.com  Da er Kartoo mye bedre. Også denne tjenesten bruker litt tid til å sortere, men resultatet er et avansert og informativt kart over treffene med emner, lenker mellom sider og ikoner som angir størrelse på serveren. På siden av kartet får du en liste over tema som relaterer seg til søkeordet du har brukt. Dette er nyttig for å få tips til ord som kan spisse søket ditt. KidsClick KidsClick! was created by a group of librarians at the Ramapo Catskill Library System, as a logical step in addressing concerns about the role of public libraries in guiding their young users to valuable and age appropriate web sites.

As the Library grew in size, however, it became increasingly difficult to locate relevant material. The poet Callimachus solved the problem by compiling a catalogue called The Pinakes. On a far smaller scale, these Web pages hope to provide a similar function for Internet resources, by linking to the major subject gateways.
